Joe Henry and Bill Frisell have played together on numerous recordings, but the 2015 Fretboard Summit was just the second time they’ve performed live as a duo. There were many highlights to their set (including a few songs that featured both players on vintage Gibson Nick Lucas guitars) but their take on Henry’s “Eyes Out For You” was simply sublime.
