The Fretboard Journal is proud to present ‘Wood & Wire,’ a new 20-minute documentary on Vermont-based electric guitar builder Creston Lea. The film was directed/edited by Bill Simmon and produced over a six month period in 2014 by VCAM, a non-profit community media center in Burlington.

Lea was originally profiled in The Fretboard Journal #21 (in conversation with fellow Vermont luthier Paul Languedoc). When we heard about a documentary being made taking you behind-the-scenes at Lea’s Burlington workshop, we couldn’t resist sharing it with our readers.
