For years, Courtney Hartman has been one of our favorite performers: She someone is capable of crafting both fiery bluegrass solos (as she did for years as guitarist in Della Mae) as well as whisper-quiet, gorgeous original tunes. This year, Hartman finally released her first full-length solo album, Ready Reckoner. We can’t recommend it enough: Hartman’s songwriting, voice and playing are simply sublime.
