Liz Brasher is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young artists to watch: This Memphis-based singer-songwriter blends soul and blues with garage rock energy and incredible, soaring vocals. Brasher recently stopped by the Fretboard Journal offices and performed this amazing solo take of “Remain,” from her 2018 Outcast EP (Fat Possum).
As you can see, Brasher proudly pays homage to hero Sister Rosetta Tharpe with her choice of guitar: A white reissue Gibson Les Paul Custom (SG).
Look for a new full-length album from Brasher in early 2019, also on Fat Possum.
