Born in Virginia, raised in Huntsville, Alabama, New York City-based guitarist/composer Charlie Rauh–recently named a Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Artist in Residence–made a special trip to Seattle to visit us a while back to share a couple of tunes from his debut solo album, Viriditas, including this song, “Augustine,” performed on his custom Collings Baby 1 MH (strung with La Bella Golden Alloy Custom Light strings, supported by a matching mahogany Revo strap).  Charlie’s residency starts later this month, on Captiva Island in Florida. “I’m going to start recording material for a new solo guitar album in various different locations, environments and countries.” We can’t wait to hear it!
