Adam Buchwald walked away from his grandfather’s business to pursue guitarmaking, first as a repairman (including a stint at Retrofret Vintage Guitars), then as a builder at Froggy Bottom Guitars. He’s now building under the moniker Circle Strings in Burlington, Vermont (in a facility he shares with electric guitar maker Creston Lea). On this week’s podcast, we talk about the leap of faith Adam took to pursue musical instruments, his business today and the new, budget-line of guitars he just launched, the Iris Guitar Company.
