I’m normally not the kind of guy who likes seeing records get turned into “art.” It makes me cringe when I see perfectly good LPs turned into bowls for food or (worse yet) ashtrays. But I have to say that these carved 78 records by Australian artist Scott Marr are simply gorgeous.

I’m guessing that these were unplayable 78s from the get-go. He’s transformed them into unique, Victorian-inspired works of art. I want one!
