We hope you’ll join us on the evening of February 16, 2013 for a special evening of music and vintage guitar talk here in Seattle, Washington. The Fretboard Journal’s longtime Field Editor, John Thomas, will be on-hand, reading and talking about his new book, Kalamazoo Gals: A Story of Extraordinary Women and Gibson’s “Banner” Guitars of WWII. There will be live music courtesy of Shelby Earl and Scott Law, two of our favorite Northwest musicians. We’ll also have vintage guitar-themed cocktails available, live music, a giveaway or two and plenty of surprises.
This evening is sponsored by our friends at Gibson Guitars. Admission is free.
Starts at 6pm and ends around 9:30pm. Location is in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood at a private location, so RSVP here to get the invite and details. If you have a “Banner” Gibson you’d like to show off (or any guitar you think fellow readers would like), don’t forget to bring it. Fretboard Journal events are fun, informal parties where guitar, mandolin and banjo aficionados get to gather and talk shop. We hope to see you there!
