Imagine seeing two of your favorite musicians set loose at a vintage acoustic guitar store. That’s the premise behind the FJ’s workshop at this year’s Wintergrass, where Chris Eldridge of the Punch Brothers and Julian Lage will be checking out, chatting about and (most importantly) playing over a dozen rare vintage acoustic guitars for nearly an hour.

This event is a reprise of the Tone Poems set we helped curate last year, where David Grisman and Kenny Smith not only tried out several instruments for the first time but played together for the first time. It was a blast and we expect nothing less for this year’s festivities. If you’re anywhere near Seattle on February 28, we hope to see you there.
