Reed Turchi is one of those guys who just seems to exude the blues, but there’s a lot more going on below the surface. Turchi grew up in North Carolina, steeped himself in New Orleans blues and boogie woogie on the piano, took up blues guitar and eventually relocated to Memphis.

During a recent Fretboard Journal visit, Turchi (now a full-time Nashville resident) brought his tried-and-true Guild M-20 and performed “Jumper on the Line” from his excellent 2016 album, Tallahatchie.
